During your home ignition zone assessment a trained evaluator will survey the outside of the home and yard space to assess potential wildfire ignition threats and provide information on how to improve home hardening and defensible space on your property.
HIZs are typically 45-60 minutes, free and private. While you are not required to be present, it’s highly recommended and a great opportunity to ask questions about your specific property. Following the inspection, a detailed report will be provided to you, including photos and recommendations.
Fire Safe Palisades along with the HIZ inspectors listed here are non-regulatory agencies and are not associated with any insurance agencies. The resulting inspection report is only provided to you, and you have no obligation to implement any of the recommendations.
